Amsterdam is set in the 1930s and tells the story of a great friendship and a murder that could threaten the lives of the protagonists and shake an entire society. The police plot follows three close friends: two soldiers and a nurse (Christian Bale, John David Washington and Margot Robbie), who made a pact in the past to always protect each other as a trio, no matter what. But, they get lost in the center of a murder case, of which they become the main suspects. To prove that they are not involved in the death, the group will have the help of allies to try to investigate the crime, and thus protect themselves and face the real killer.
