1969. Ted (Zach Efron) is an attractive, keen, spectacular and warm person. Liz Kloepfer (Lily Collins), a mother who is certain to bring up her youngsters, surrenders her appeal. For her, Ted is the man she had always wanted, so she leaves aside all precautionary measures, and experiences passionate feelings for this young fellow. The two appear to be the perfect couple with an actual existence like in the motion pictures, until one day when, as though from no place, everything breakdown, and their ideal life is finished.
