Seven years after Monst-Apocalypse, Joel Dawson and the remainder of humankind have been living underground since monster animals assumed responsibility for land. Subsequent to connecting with his secondary school sweetheart, Aimee, who is 135 miles away in a seaside province, Joel starts to begin to look all starry eyed at her once more. Understanding that there isn’t anything underground for him, he chooses to dare to Aimee, notwithstanding all the hazardous beasts that hinder him.
