One night in 1989, Dylan Jacobs, a stupid kid with asthma, discovers his mom crying in the kitchen with a lit light close by. In the fall of that very year, Dylan and his dad moved into another house. In one of the rooms, Dylan tracks down a dusty mirror and an old book that contains guidelines for conjuring a soul that is said to satisfy a wish of the person who summons. It additionally indicates that at one o’clock before 12 PM the person who conjures the soul should place three drops of blood in the wax of a lit flame and spot his desire before a mirror. The soul will satisfy the longing at 12 PM if the individual summoning it has an iron will. The issue is that the satisfaction of the craving could cost the person who conjures the soul his own spirit!
