Ali, a sergeant in the US Navy, gets back to New York, after a bombed mission to shield notable individuals from the US Embassy in Romania. Tortured by the memory of her disappointment, she consents to function as a custodian in an old square of pads to be remodeled, an occupation masterminded by her uncle.
