The Nun 2 is the second chapter in the story of The Nun (2018), which is part of the universe of the Conjuring franchise. In the first film, after a nun commits suicide in a convent in Romania, the Vatican sends the tormented Father Burke ( Demián Bichir) and a novice, Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga), to investigate what happened. Risking their lives, their faith and even their souls, the two discover an unholy secret there, confronting an evil force that takes the form of a demonic nun and turns the convent into a spiritual battlefield. Now, in the sequel, years after the events of the first film, a priest is murdered and it seems that evil is spreading throughout the region. Once again we follow Sister Irene when, after thinking she had narrowly escaped Valak, the demonic entity, she is forced to face the powerful and macabre enemy once again.
