In The Secret Door, Paul (Patrick Gibson) and Sophie (Sophie Wilde) are humble and mistreated interns who start working at the mysterious London company JW Wells and Co. and become increasingly aware that their employers are anything but conventional. Humphrey Wells (Christoph Waltz), the company’s CEO, and middle manager Dennis Tanner (Sam Neill) are revolutionizing the world of magic by bringing modern corporate strategy to ancient magical practices. However, Paul and Sophie soon discover the true agenda of the vast corporation run by charismatic villains: they actually want to destroy the world of magic.
