June, when a renowned counterculture figure, is attempting to withdraw from turmoil, securing herself in the sloppy dividers of her grandma’s loft in the South Bronx. In any case, her ringer rings relentlessly, the warmth is terrible and the suspicion and startling apprehension overwhelm.
