The story fixates on the dubious connection between servant Stefania Chornenko and the youthful aristocrat Adelia Anger, and the activity happens in the territory of Austria-Hungary in 1900. Both Stefania’s folks and Adelia’s mom kicked the bucket in a fire in 1868. Dr. Outrage, Adelia’s dad, embraced the stranded little girl of the neighbors. The young ladies grew up together, close as sisters, in spite of the fact that Stefania is a servant. This connection transforms into a snare of adoration: from one perspective it is brimming with control and common desire, and yet it depends on love and dedication. The deception of equilibrium breaks when Adelia weds the artist Petro. The circumstance is additionally muddled when Joseph, Stefania’s former beau, gets back to the city.
