In the comedy-drama Champions, Marcus (Woody Harrelson) is a former professional basketball coach who, as part of his community service, is court-ordered to work with a team of players with intellectual disabilities. Right away, Marcus has several doubts about the team’s ability, and doesn’t believe in the potential of the players. However, over time, the stubborn and hot-headed coach begins to realize that, working as a team, the team can go further than he imagined. Directed by Bobby Farrelly, the cast also features – in addition to Harrelson – Ernie Hudson, Cheech Marin, Kaitlin Olson and Matt Cook.
