Mario is a film based on the video game series, Super Mario Bros, by Nintendo. In Super Mario Bros. – The Movie, Mario (Chris Pratt) is a random plumber in the neighborhood of Brooklyn along with his brother Luigi (Charlie Day). One day, Mario and Luigi go to the Mushroom Kingdom, ruled by Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), but threatened by the King of the Koopas, Bowser (Jack Black), who will do anything to reign everywhere. That’s when Luigi is kidnapped by Bowser and uses him to look for Mario, the only one capable of stopping the Koopa and restoring peace.
