Grace, a young ophthalmologist, is summoned to a remote convent in Scotland following the presumed suicide of her priest brother. Mistrusting the Church’s account, Grace tries to find out what really happened with the help of Father Romero from the Vatican. As she explores, Grace discovers not just murder and sacrilege, but a disturbing truth about her own past that brings to light long-buried traumas.
