Knights of the Zodiac – Saint Seiya: The Beginning is an action-adventure film based on the popular manga series Knights of the Zodiac by Masami Kurumada. The film accompanies Seiya (Mackenyu), a very skilled fighter who participates in competitions for money. During one of their fights, Seiya ends up discovering that he has powers, and attracts the attention of the tycoon Kido (Sean Bean). Kido charges the young man with an important mission: to protect his daughter, Sienna (Madison Iseman), who is the reincarnation of the goddess Athena. Along with four other warriors, Seiya now must dedicate himself strongly to the task, as he may be one of the only people capable of keeping the goddess – and, consequently, humanity – safe.
