The feature film Iron Claw, directed by Sean Durkin, tells the true and tragic story of the Von Erich wrestling dynasty. The inseparable Von Erich brothers – in the film, played by Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson and Stanley Simons – made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. The family celebrated great successes in sports, but he also suffered major defeats. Three of the Patriarch’s sons (played by Holt McCallany) committed suicide during their careers. Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek immortality on this great sporting stage. The cast of Iron Claw also includes Lily James, and is an A24 production.
