Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), aka Captain Marvel, must deal with unintended consequences that leave her bearing the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole, her powers intertwine with those of two other superheroines, involving them in a mysterious phenomenon, causing them to switch places without understanding the reason for this. Thus are born The Marvels: superfan Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), also known as Ms Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R astronaut, Captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris).
